Mabul Island, Sabah — Malaysian Borneo. A small, flat island in the Celebes Sea off Semporna, Mabul is ringed by white sand and clear turquoise water, with wooden villas on stilts over the reef and long jetties running out to the drop-off. It is home to a Bajau sea-nomad community and is the gateway to Sipadan, one of the world's great dive sites.

  • Best time to visit: March to October, the calmer and drier months with the clearest water.
  • Average temperature: about 26–32°C / 79–90°F all year; the sea stays around 28–30°C.
  • Good to know: Sipadan dives are limited by a daily permit, so book well ahead; most trips start from Tawau airport and a boat from Semporna.

The Mabul Indigo set pairs a deep indigo bandeau and high-cut bottom with a fine pale-blue ornament print, made for days split between the villa deck and the lagoon.

Made from soft recycled fabric with double layering and UPF 50+.
