Find your stretch of sand,
then explore the island.
White Beach runs along Boracay’s west coast, with about four kilometers of pale sand divided into three familiar stations. You can settle near the shops and restaurants at Station 2, walk north toward Willy’s Rock, or head south toward the palms around Angol.
Boracay belongs to the municipality of Malay in Aklan. The island has its own neighborhoods and beaches, while Caticlan and the provincial capital of Kalibo are on Panay. Give White Beach its own day and plan any mainland outing around the boat crossing.

01 / GETTING THERE
Leave room for the crossing to the island.

Get around Boracay and the surrounding coast
Use the beachfront path and village lanes for short walks. For Diniwid, Puka and the northern resorts, arrange an island ride and agree on the pickup and return point before you leave.
On the beach
Use the designated swimming area, follow flags and lifeguard instructions, and stay clear of boat lanes. Check the sea forecast before an outing. Leave the water when access is closed or conditions are beyond your ability. Beach status ↗
02 / BEACH ESSENTIALS
Know before you go.
White Beach is a long sandy shore lined with accommodation and places to eat. The station names help you choose an entrance, but conditions change along the water. Check the marked swimming zone and local advice at the part of the beach you use.
01 / HOW TO GET THERE
Choose an entrance near your plans
Ask your host for an entrance at Station 1, 2 or 3. If you arrive by island transport, confirm the nearest road drop-off and the walk to the shore. The map pin marks the sand by the central Station 2 area.
Official beach information ↗02 / BEACH ACCESS
Check the route from road to shore
Some approaches involve narrow lanes, uneven paving or steps before loose sand. Ask about the full route from your drop-off, including gradients, toilets and any assistance you need.
03 / THE SAND
Pale sand along the west coast
The width of dry sand changes with tide and swell. Walk clear of boat access areas and leave room around the rocky shore near Willy’s Rock. Wet steps and rocks can be slippery.
04 / FOOD & WATER
Keep a meal stop behind the shore
You can find breakfast plates, rice dishes, cafés and restaurants close to the beach. Use a venue for your meal, carry drinking water, and follow the beach’s posted rules about food, drink and smoking.
05 / CHAIRS & UMBRELLAS
Ask before you book beach gear
Check with a licensed operator for any water activity and confirm the equipment, weather policy and departure point. Use a venue’s permitted seating area if you want shade and ask what access includes.
06 / RESTROOMS & SHOWERS
Confirm toilets and changing access
Ask your accommodation or a restaurant which facilities you can use. Carry a towel and dry clothes if you’ll change back at your room.
