Camps Bay, Cape Town — South Africa. Just over the hill from Cape Town's city center, Camps Bay is a wide arc of white sand beneath the Twelve Apostles mountains, lined with palms and granite boulders on the Atlantic coast. The water is famously cold and clear, and the sunsets over the ocean are some of the best in the city.

  • Best time to visit: November to March, the warm, dry summer season.
  • Average temperature: Summer highs of about 25–28°C / 77–82°F; the Atlantic stays cool at around 14–17°C.
  • Good to know: Swim in the sheltered rock pool or the calmer coves at Clifton, and hike Lion's Head for the view over the bay.

 

The Camps Bay Picnic set pairs a cobalt triangle top scattered with ivory daisies with a tie-side bottom in fine cobalt and ivory stripes.

Made from soft recycled fabric with double layering and UPF 50+.
